All objects are embedded and saved with PDF compatibility enabled to ensure accurate import into LightBurn.

Importing into LightBurn

  1. Open LightBurn and choose File > Import.
  2. Select BulldogLaser.ai and click Open.
  3. Both the raster mascot and the vector outline will appear on your canvas.

Note: The outline shown here includes a 3mm kerf offset for laser cutting alignment.

Layer Visibility and Setup

Once imported, the vector and image components are placed on separate layers in the Cuts / Layers panel. In this example:

You can toggle visibility/output and adjust layer settings to sequence the operations appropriately.


Use Preview in LightBurn to double-check engraving detail, cut order, and material alignment before starting your job.
