I'm currently a student at CSUSB in the Instructional Design and Technology Master's program. Welcome to my ePortfolio! Here, you’ll find a showcase of my journey and work as an instructional design student. Through various projects and examples, I illustrate my approach to creating engaging, learner-centered experiences that bridge theory and practice. Explore to see my skills in curriculum design, multimedia development, and instructional technology in action, as well as my commitment to delivering impactful learning solutions tailored to diverse audiences. Thank you for visiting!
I'm a photographer, a digital artist, a typesetter, a designer, a programmer, a maker, a musician, and a professor. Instructional Design is a field that synthesizes many of my skills into a singular, focused direction. Creating eLearning delivery and assessment involves many of my skills and requires me to stretch my technological skills; I've started courses in SQL, REACT.js, Bootstrap 5, moodle, and Canvas. My goal with this training is to be able to develop eLearning delivery that doesn't rely on platforms or Learning Management Systems (LMS). Some of these technologies will change my definition from front end/UI developer to full-stack developer. I'm considering another masters in computer science to aid in this, but the internet is full of free or low-cost eLearning opportunities if only you can develop the instrinsic motivation to work hard and gather skills. I'm currently using Codefinity and W3 Schools to learn these new skills.
I have a BA in Photography and I've been a photographer for several decades.
I specialize in portraiture, glamour, and fashion. Take a look at my portfolio.
For the past three decades, I've been a typesetter/production artist. I've worked for companies until 2000 when I joined a group of independent contractors and we called ourselves Happenstance Type-O-Rama.
